Social Media Communication Officer (M/F)

Location : Luxembourg

Start date : ASAP

Contract : 6 months, possible extension up to 1 year

A major European financial institution seeks a Social Media Communication Officer to temporarily support its social media and communications strategy. Working in close collaboration with the internal communications, social media, and speechwriting teams, you will contribute to consistent and effective communication across digital channels.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Manage and contribute to the social media content calendar.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep content planning accurate and up to date.
  • Create content for recurring communication projects and ongoing campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly social media analytics reports and regular social media listening reports.
  • Support the development of existing social media AI Agent projects.

Profile & Experience :

  • Master’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in external communication and social media management.
  • Experience in EU institutions, International Financial Institutions, or creative agencies is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of social media, content marketing, analytics and reporting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; other euro area languages are a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and social media listening platforms (Meltwater or similar).
  • Design software proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative in international settings.

Practical Information :

  • Non-institutional staff contract via temporary agency.
  • Place of work : Luxembourg.
  • Flexible arrangements: up to two days remote work per week (from Luxembourg or border region, or elsewhere under certain conditions).
  • Contract terms will be discussed directly with the selected candidate.
