Opportunity: Credit Risk Officer (6-Month Contract)
An international financial institution in Luxembourg is seeking an Interim Credit Risk Officer to join its Risk Management division for a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the creditworthiness of financial institutions, sovereigns, and other issuers.
- Monitor credit risks, exposure limits, and market developments.
- Prepare credit risk reports and contribute to high-level policy development.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure strong risk management practices.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in economics, finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in credit risk or similar disciplines.
- Knowledge of credit rating systems (Fitch, S&P, Moody’s).
- Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and knowledge of PowerBI or Python (a plus).
- Risk management certifications (FRM, PRM, CFA) are an advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential.
