Opportunity: Credit Risk Officer (6-Month Contract)


An international financial institution in Luxembourg is seeking an Interim Credit Risk Officer to join its Risk Management division for a 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the creditworthiness of financial institutions, sovereigns, and other issuers.
  • Monitor credit risks, exposure limits, and market developments.
  • Prepare credit risk reports and contribute to high-level policy development.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure strong risk management practices.


Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in economics, finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in credit risk or similar disciplines.
  • Knowledge of credit rating systems (Fitch, S&P, Moody’s).
  • Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and knowledge of PowerBI or Python (a plus).
  • Risk management certifications (FRM, PRM, CFA) are an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential.

  • Location: Luxembourg (remote work possible under conditions).
